Delivery and pickup
Free pickup is available from Moorebank. Delivery and placement are quoted for each site, including regional and remote locations where suitable transport and access can be arranged.
Before confirming a delivery price, we may request photos, measurements, a site plan or an access inspection. Tight corners, steep grades, low branches, overhead services and wet ground can affect the delivery method.
Preparing your site
The site must be level, accessible and ready to receive the unit. This typically includes suitable footings or supports, clear delivery access and any required service points prepared in advance.
Delivery includes placement only unless your written proposal says otherwise. Installation, footings, site works, utility connections, decks and landscaping are separate.
Approvals are location-specific
TDU units are not supplied as Class 1a dwellings as standard. Tiny-home planning and building requirements vary by site, council and intended use.
The materials used in TDU units are selected with Australian requirements in mind, but a movable unit’s layout and use may not meet the National Construction Code requirements for a permanent dwelling. Your local council and qualified certifier should confirm the pathway for your property.
A clear split of responsibilities
TDU typically coordinates
- Construction of the agreed unit and options
- Documentation specifically listed in your proposal
- Pickup or specialist transport quotation
- Placement where expressly included
You or your site team typically coordinate
- Land due diligence and authority enquiries
- Planning, building and business-use approvals
- Footings, access preparation and site works
- Electrical, plumbing and wastewater connections
The final division is always the one written in your signed agreement.
